My multimedia project is a teacher appreciation video. As a senior I wanted to capture and highlight the effort and care that teachers put in their work before I graduate. It's intentions are to ask simple questions to teachers with the idea that there are pillars in the profession that all teachers feel like they gravitate towards.

Environmental Portrait:
The picture is focused more on the northern lights rather than the subject at the bottom of the picture.

Casual Portrait:
This portrait is casual as its very simple with the subject in front of a black background.

Formal Portrait:
The subject is in business attire and also looks professional in a personal office setting.

The Story

This picture piques the viewers interest and makes them wonder what the story behind this photo is.  The picture creates curiosity in the viewer because the people in the photo are all linking hands in a circle.

Action

This photo is a great capture as it catches all of the action as it's happening. The water is mid air showing us water in a form we rarely get to observe it in. The emotion of the picture in response in the action is awe.

Fills the Frame

This photo is a very busy photo but fills up the frame with multiple subjects and attention grabbers.

Composition Shoot

Lines:

There are multiple leading lines in the photo that lead the viewer to the subject, the silhouette,  in the distance of the photo.

Framing:

The red frame with green borders frames the subject in the middle of the photo.

Balance:

The two trees as subjects balance out the photo as they are equidistant and parallel in the photo.

Rule of Thirds & Simplicity

In this photo, the balloon is the subject and it stands out due to the simplicity of the picture. The background features a grid which shows the balloon off center to follow the rule of thirds.

Merger

In this photo I used my jacket sleeve to merge with the hand in the poster. 

Who is this man? Observation

Clothing: This man is wearing army fatigues with a hoodie underneath.
Hair: His hair is wild and unkept, resembles a lion's mane possibly due to wind.
Physical Condition: He has a very dark tan. His teeth are yellowing. Wrinkled face due to age.
Location: Side of the street.

The voice: Ted Williams has a loud but soothing clear voice. It is almost the stereotypical radio announcer voice

Location: Ted is standing on the median of the road with his sign when the reporter first meets him.

Feature story worthy: Ted Williams' story is worth the feature because it is a story of hope, pity, passion, but most importantly, it is a redemption story.

Interesting story details: One guy would be fired if he could net get Ted Williams hired. "We could make him a millionaire" "We run into these guys all the time and we ignore them"
